This newly opened, family-owned farm and vineyards spans 13 acres of Bristol, Virginia. Since 2016, the vineyards have produced medal-winning bottles of wine at the Virginia Governor’s Cup, beginning with the 2016 Viognier and Chardonnay, the vineyard’s first wines to be bottled. Other wines offered at the vineyard include Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cab Franc vines.
At the inn, which opened last April, guests can explore the grounds with a personal tour of the vineyards. At the property’s signature Appalachian restaurant Hickory, guests can also enjoy the inn’s homegrown wines alongside good food and an open-flame hearth. In the Tasting Room, guests immerse themselves in a full tasting experience, from learning about the winemaking process to tasting flights of wines alongside light bites to taking in the stunning views.

Situated in Irvington, a historic town in the center of Virginia’s Northern Neck region, overlooks a tributary of Chesapeake Bay. Virginia’s valleys, farms, waterways and orchards support Tides Inn, and guests staying at the inn can embark on the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail.
On this trail, enjoy local wines only found in this region while relaxing on property. Guests can also partake in a Virginia winery tour located just steps from the inn.
