Set to open in 2024, YOTEL’s first hotel in Japan, YOTEL Tokyo, will grace the desirable Ginza neighborhood of Japan’s capital city. The 244-room hotel will boast YOTEL’s signature robotic concierge YOBOT, motorized SmartBeds and fully integrated technologies for a touchless guest experience, from making reservations to checking out.
“Japan’s focus on technology and innovation has been an important source of inspiration for YOTEL ever since our inception. We are immensely proud and excited to announce our first hotel in Tokyo,” said Hubert Viriot, CEO, YOTEL. “A flagship for our group, YOTEL Tokyo will also be a steppingstone to roll out our brand across Japan, a market of strategic importance for YOTEL.”
Situated a 15-minute walk from Tokyo station, the new hotel allows guests to enjoy the many attractions, restaurants and shops found in Ginza. Ginza features many flagship stores for many of the world’s best-known brands.
In addition to YOBOT and SmartBeds, YOTEL Tokyo will also include the brand’s iconic public spaces, perfect for guests to eat, drink, work and play. The new hotel will also feature a 24/7 fitness center, a Grab-and-Go café with locally sourced food and drink options, a meeting space and an outdoor terrace.
