You Can Now Watch Your Favorite Apple TV+ Shows on United Airlines

Guests on United Airlines will now be able to enjoy a new entertainment amenity. On both seatback screens and within the United app, travelers will have access to full seasons of select Apple TV+ shows, including Severance, Ted Lasso and other favorites.

“Apple creates groundbreaking original series, and United travelers are going to love watching fan-favorite Apple Originals for free on their next flight,” said Mark Muren, managing director of product, identity and loyalty, United Airlines. “We’re setting a new standard for a premium in-flight experience, and our first-of-its-kind collaboration with Apple TV+ gives fliers more high-quality content options on the latest high-definition seatback screens.”

As alluded by Muren, this new addition to the in-flight experience is just one the airline has announced this year.

In May, United Airlines promised it would be greatly enhancing interiors on new Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with new business-class suites, Starlink connectivity and larger 4-K seatback screens. New aircraft will feature United Polaris Studio suites that are 25 percent larger than standard United Polaris seats, with privacy doors, ottoman seats and the largest seatback screens offered by an American carrier. Additionally, travelers in economy class will enjoy the largest seatback screens offered in any economy-class cabin in the world.
