Whether you’re exploring a sober-curious lifestyle, committing to a series of sober months or are fully alcohol-free, this doesn’t mean you need to miss out on tasty drinks. Philadelphia is full of thoughtful and delicious non-alcoholic options, with some of the city’s top chef’s crafting zero-proof offerings over the years.

Here’s the only guide you’ll need for Philly’s best zero-proof drinks and mocktails:
- Bar Palmina: As Fishtown’s only zero-proof bar, you’ll find an expansive selection of non-alcoholic options across both inventive and classic themes. There’s also non-alcoholic wines and beer available.
- R&D: Alongside regular cocktails, bartenders whip up non-alcoholic versions of the classics, from spritzes to negronis. They also serve a virgin piña colada.
- Charlie was a sinner: This uniquely named bar has its own zero-proof menu focusing on house-made simple syrups and cordials to elevate drinks. The spicy apple, for instance, uses apple cider and Fresno chili, while the blackberry ginger soda is another must-try.
- Bar Hygge: Located in Fairmount, this bar also has its own non-alcoholic drinks, such as alcohol-removed wine, zero-proof amaro, and signature mocktails like lavender lemonade and spritz made with Ritual’s gin alternative.
- 48 Record Bar: Located above Old City’s Sassafras, this bar has an innovative, zero-proof menu of drinks like Polyester Dinosaur, with pineapple, turmeric-honey syrup, ginger and spicy tajin rim. The Coconut Matcha Mojito, meanwhile, mixes cream of coconut with lime and matcha.
- Libertee Grounds: Spend a night playing mini golf with a refreshing, non-alcoholic drink in hand. Options include the Upside Down Golden Lager and Free Wave Hazy IPA, as well as mocktails.
- Royal Izakaya: One of the city’s most popular restaurants also offers a robust non-alcoholic selection. The Yuzu Spritz is a fan favorite, made with yuzu, lime, plum bitters and soda. You can also try Japanese sodas like Choya Yuzu and Kimono. Not interested in these options? The bar team can make things on the fly by request.
- Urban Farmer: Located within Logan Hotel, this modern American steakhouse serves alcohol-free tipples like the UF No-Groni with Seedlip Grove 42, aperitif syrup and verjus (“vermouth”), as well as the Cos-no-politan with citrus shrub, cranberry and lime.
- Laser Wolf: A sober owner means non-alcoholic options are not only a must but a specialty. Try Laser Lemonade, made with lemon, cardamom, orange blossom and butterfly pea flower, or Banana Phone, crafted with banana ginger beer and club soda.
- Bloomsday: In addition to low-ABV beverages, Bloomsday also serves zero-ABV drinks like a spicy, homemade ginger beer, ginger-spiked lemonade and more.
- The Living Room: Situated in W Philadelphia, this 70s-inspired bar has a curated selection of zero-proof cocktails featuring French 0.75, made with non-alcoholic gin, lemon, simply syrup and Club Soda. Another drink, I’ll Drive, features non-alcoholic gin, raspberry syrup and Fever Tree tonic.
