Zero Breeze Mark 2 is a portable, battery-powered air conditioner designed with travelers and weekend road warriors in mind. The perfect camping companion, the AC unit is also a great tool for hotel rooms, cabins and just keeping your car cool in the summer sun.

Zero Breeze boasts enough juice to last for five hours on a full charge. It’s powered with a 12V battery that includes an AC/DC power adapter for your vehicle, but the battery itself is sold separately unless you order the Zero Breeze Plus. It can also be charged by a solar panel. Inside the unit is a rotary compressor, making the device an actual air conditioner rather than an emulator that just pushes air through a fan.

The air conditioning unit is capable of bringing room temperature down by 18 degrees in rooms up to 50 square feet. So, while it’s not ideal for cooling an entire house, it’s great for smaller spaces that need cooling in a pinch. It contains three separate speeds and settings – Cool Airflow, Instant Breeze and Regular Fan Airflow. Additionally, it’s packed with a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to music while you cool down. An embedded LED light also provides illumination when you need to see in the dark.

The original Zero Breeze debuted in 2016, with the brand new Mark 2 set to hit stores this year. The unit — with battery included — will retail for $1,299 with first shipments having already begun. Check out the website for more information on features and ways to order one of your own.
