ZiiLock is the world’s first foldable, biometric bike guard. The smart device offers a variety of features designed to keep your bike safe in any circumstance. It not only provides a barrier between your bike and a thief, but also keeps you constantly connected so you know where it is at all times.
The lock is equipped with a 508 DPI high-res capacitive sensing touch panel that senses you fingertip and unlocks in seconds. You can also unlock ZiiLock through your smartphone. It connects using Bluetooth technology and utilizes security measures often used in the military. The lock contains steel reinforcement so it’s difficult to break and it can withstand up to a 12-ton hydraulic cutter. The alloy steel casing makes it nearly impenetrable to drilling and picking. The ZiiLock is also waterproof and can be used rain or shine.
With the use of your smartphone you can also allow remote access to your bike for family and friends. The storage system is capable of recognizing up to 20 fingerprints, or you can assign them a temporary code. The app also allows you to track the ZiiLock as it marks your location each time it’s used.
One of the best parts of the design is it’s foldable and compact. When folded it’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Extended, it reaches an impressive 98 centimeters. The ZiiLock comes with a lithium battery that lasts for three months, and can be recharged as needed.
ZiiLock is set to retail at $179 with first shipments beginning December 2019. You can snag one at a discount now by pre-ordering on the website.
