Headphones have to strike a delicate balance between design and performance. Beyerdynamic’s iDX headphones ($135) have a sleek look combined with convenient design features like tangle-free wires and a variety of silicone tips.
Klipsch R6i
Klipsch is one of the brands you go to for acoustic performance. For $99, the R6i headphones are a steal in terms of sound quality, competing with ear buds priced a tier above.
Bowers & Wilkins C5 S2
Dubstep fans will love this pair ($180) for its pronounced bass response, though depending on your ear size, they’re not the most comfortable due to their loop design. Bowers & Wilkins gives a two-year warranty with all their purchases, so you’re covered there.
Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear
Sennheiser is popular in studios for their great sound quality, but consumers will like the new Momentum ear buds ($100), thanks to its striking visual appeal. Along with a great sound, the Sennheiser made models for both iOS and Android, where most manufacturers only have controls for the iPhone.
