After a pre-dawn flight from Philadelphia to Chicago, I arrived rather early at Claridge House, which recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation and rebranding. Claridge House’s residential location in the Gold Coast neighborhood lends itself well to the hotel’s “our home is your home” philosophy. That feeling is also evidenced by the lobby décor, boasting a few tables and a bar in the on-site Juniper restaurant and a cozy couch and seating area. It feels like entering a friend’s home and grabbing a cup of coffee. Even the front desk leans toward tucked-away and unobtrusive, further evoking the at-home vibe.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) is the largest airline in Japan. With flights from the United States to Japan and all of Asia, it's the perfect airline to book your next trip with. From ANA's amazing in-flight food to its excellent customer service, it comes as no surprise ANA has been awarded five stars for its seventh consecutive year by the SKYTRAX World Airline Rating.
Just a short drive from the vibrant and busy South Beach area lies an unassuming and lush luxury oasis, The Standard Miami Beach. It’s a fantastic option for both the leisure and corporate traveler visiting the Miami area. Don’t be confused by the front sign saying “Lido Spa Hotel”; this is present as part of the architectural conservation ordinances in certain areas of Miami to preserve Art Deco buildings.
I was pleased to try a new boutique property on my recent trip to Seattle. Hotel Theodore is located downtown, in the middle of great shopping and restaurants, just a few blocks to Pike Place Market. The property was built just more than a year ago and has a great modern-but-homey feel that I love when I travel.
Experience a big-city hotel stay that doesn’t feel like your typical urban visit at Chicago’s Claridge House, nestled in the sought-after Gold Coast neighborhood. The hotel’s sophisticated décor and serene residential ambience foster the atmosphere of an oasis amid the hustle and bustle of a busy metropolis.
