Tips / Travel

When preparing for a long flight overseas, remembering everything you need to make yourself comfortable can seem like an overwhelming task. Here are some essentials to make sure you survive that seven-plus-hour flight and arrive at your destination feeling refreshed.

A Great Neck Pillow

Investing in a travel pillow right for your sleeping style and comfort level is well worth it for some extra shut-eye. One of the best-selling travel pillows on Amazon is the J Pillow, which goes around your neck and cradles your head from the side with an extra arm.

A Sleep Aid

If you’re the type of person who just wants to sleep the whole flight, there are tons of natural sleep aids you can take to help. Supplements like melatonin and L-Theanine offer natural and safe ways to help you doze.

Toiletries

Pack a toothbrush, face wipes and anything else you would use first thing in the morning. This will help you feel clean and awake once you reach your destination. Some great travel-sized products include Colgate’s mini disposable toothbrushes and First Aid Beauty’s Hello FAB Caffeine Matcha Wake Up Wipes.

Layers

Dress for any temperature. Layering is the best way to expect the unexpected. Whether the AC is blasting or on way too low, you’ll be prepared and comfortable if you dress accordingly.
