Almanac X Prague, a 204-room hotel near the city’s Old Town, recently opened, the first in the Almanac X lifestyle collection, a youthful, culinary-driven offshoot of Almanac Hotels. Almanac X Prague is housed inside the former Alcron Hotel, the city’s first luxury hotel, and features original details like marble pillars, wood paneling and an onyx fireplace.

The new design boasts a color palette inspired by the facades of the city buildings and includes artwork from local painters, hardwood floors, Czech limestone, glass pendant lighting and more. Suites offer views of Prague Castle, and the top-floor Presidential Suite features a separate living space, dining room and kitchenette, with Prague Castle and National Museum vistas.
Ground-floor Alcron Restaurant reinterprets classic Czech cuisine in a plant-forward manner, while handcrafted cocktails are available at the Art Deco-inspired Alcron Bar. A streetside café serves coffee and a rooftop terrace will debut in summer 2024. A fitness centers operates 24/7, with a sauna exclusively for guest use. Signature spa treatments can be performed in guestrooms or in a dedicated wellness room.
