Aspen Snowmass recently announced plans for its 80th anniversary celebrations, taking place all winter long and starting with a weekend of throwback pricing, including lift tickets for $3.75 on Dec. 14 — the day the resort was founded and matching the original 1946 rate.

Every day, we carve the future while honoring the past – and this season, we’re so proud to celebrate 80 incredible years.”
Aspen Snowmass will also discount lift tickets on Dec. 12 and 13 to $80, pairing deeply discounted mountain access with anniversary experiences on the mountain. Lift tickets offer skiing and snowboarding access on all four of Aspen Snowmass’ mountains: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass. Discounted lift tickets are limited in quantity and are expected to sell out quickly.
Four mountain sports will offer $80 premium rental packages Dec. 12–14. Special on-mountain programming across those four days includes après parties, $19.46 food and beverage specials at culinary outlets, a limited run of anniversary apparel, and more.
Aspen Snowmass Pass holders qualify for additional giveaways and event promotions.
The anniversary weekend also coincides with Wintersköl’s 75th year, with both milestones celebrating eight decades of mountain culture and community.
Limelight Aspen and Limelight Snowmass also join the celebrations, with limited-time lodging rates, including 46 percent off stays Dec. 11–14, using code 80YEARS (two-night stay minimum) at Limelight Snowmass; and 46 percent off stays Dec. 13–14 at Limelight Aspen. The Little Nell will provide up to a 30 percent discount Dec. 11–14 with code 80YEARS and no minimum stay required. All three properties will also feature limited-time special programming and food and beverage specials.
