Take a brewery and winery tour. Start in Red Hook at the Red Hook Winery. Open since 2008, the winery offers free tours on Saturday and Sunday to anyone who pays for the $15 wine tasting. Brooklyn Brewery is open daily and offers a variety of tours and tastings. Tours are free Friday–Sunday and depart every 30 minutes.
If the bride wants a dose of culture, check out the Brooklyn Museum, New York Transit Museum or Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Brooklyn is home to a burgeoning restaurant scene, with cuisine to meet every taste. Whether the bride likes sushi, pierogis, pizza or barbecue, you’ll be able to find a place she loves.
