With National Hiking Day just around the corner on Nov. 17, consider planning a hiking-focused trip to Arapaho Valley Ranch. Situated on 38 acres in Granby, Colorado, the ranch has been welcoming guests since 1946 in a range of accommodations, from glamping yurts to cabins.

This moderate, 9.2-mile loop is best visited before the snowy season begins.
This 7.5-mile loop in Arapaho National Recreation Area boasts beautiful views year-round.
A section of this trail is part of the Continental Divide Trail. The challenging trail is 6 miles one way and climbs to 9,016 feet above sea level.

Perfect for beginners, this 3.9-mile loop is located directly behind the ranch. The trail is also popular among snowshoers and cross-country skiers during the snowy months.
Set in a prime wildlife-viewing area, this 3.7-mile loop features a steep incline up to a lake.
