Celebrity Cruises Expands into River Cruising

Celebrity Cruises is expanding into the river cruising space, with spots going quickly for the cruise line’s inaugural 2027 sailings, when the brand plans to launch two new river ships, Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker, onto the Rhine and Danube rivers.

Ships will feature the most usable outdoor space of any river ship sailing today, as well as the first cantilevered dining pods on a river ship. Staterooms are available across five categories, and all feature king-sized beds, as well as the most in-room amenities offered on a river cruise. These amenities include complimentary stocked minibars and on-demand butler service. Staterooms will also incorporate the Infinite Veranda concept made famous on Celebrity’s ocean ships, as well as new staterooms featuring skylights. Eight restaurants and bars are on tap, too.
