Check Out These New Food Trails in Indiana

Indiana Foodways Alliance now gives visitors to the state more ways to explore its culinary offerings. New digital passports make it easy to explore various food trails — and each is as unique as the last.

There’s the Coffee & Tea trail, which features more than 30 locations. There’s a Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner trail, with more than 20 restaurants. For the really ambitious, there’s the Tenderloin Lovers trail, with its more than 100 restaurants. And then for those with a sweet tooth, the I Scream for Ice Cream Passport will take you to more than 40 ice cream shops and parlors.

The passports for these trails are mobile-exclusive and delivered to you via text or email as soon as you sign up. When you check in at a trail stop, you’ll earn a point (earn double points for successful referrals). Along the way, you can redeem your points for fun prizes, such as apparel, glassware and more.

In a statement introducing the new passports, Indiana Foodways Alliance president Haley Anderson said, “The new passports are more than just a list of places to visit — they’re a tool for adventure. They encourage residents and travelers to step off the beaten path, support local businesses and experience the diverse food traditions found throughout Indiana. By collecting stamps or marking visits along the trail, participants can create their own culinary journey across the state.”
