October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and The Algonquin Hotel is going above and beyond to show support through a series of events, performances and special programming benefiting American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Join weekly happy hours from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Blue Bar Restaurant & Lounge, featuring special pink cocktails, live music, Broadway performers and Cabaret nights. In fact, The Blue Bar illuminates in pink each night and highlights its Sunday in the Park cocktail, a vibrant twist on the classic Cosmopolitan. Perfecting the sip, ingredients include E11EVEN Vodka, Combier liqueur d’orange, Re’al Lychee syrup purée and fresh lime juice, garnished with ripe raspberries.
A portion of proceeds from each cocktail is dedicated toward American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Walk.
The Algonquin Hotel curated month-long celebrations to honor breast cancer survivors and fighters while raising awareness and funds for the cause.
Following the hotel’s renovation completion earlier this year, the hotel shows off its continued timeless charm and legendary hospitality, as well as refreshed menus.

Others are strictly business, where the nearby ski resort seems as hypothetical as your Q4 plans on the whiteboard in the corporate boardroom. Of course, the best trips are strictly for pleasure — the long-awaited vacation you’ve plotted (and saved airline miles) for months on end.
