Faena New York recently opened, two decades after Faena’s debut in Buenos Aires, and 10 years since the arrival of Faena Miami Beach. Conceived by founder Alan Faena, Faena New York is a multidimensional expression of the city’s creative pulse, bringing together collaborators across culinary, design and art.
“New York City has historically been the center of innovation, creativity, and pushing boundaries. Faena embraces and amplifies that spirit, offering a touch of magic that honors and contributes to the vibrant legacy of New York,” stated Faena.
Conceived by the Faena Design Team with design collaborator Peter Mikic, the interiors offer richly layered spaces with bold patterns, iconic symbolism and theatrical elegance inspired by old New York glamour. Renowned chef Francis Mallmann helms the property’s signature La Boca restaurant, inspired by Mallmann’s signature Patagonian fire-cooking techniques and bold flavors. The property spans 120 guestrooms and suites, with immersive spaces for dining, gathering and restoration, including The Living Room, Faena Theater, Tierra Santa Healing House and an open-air plaza
The Living Room is a vibrant space that shifts from daytime gatherings to evenings filled with music, conversation and ritual. Two Art Deco-style bars anchor each end, with seats throughout. A 900-square-foot terrace overlooks High Line Park, offering seasonal outdoor seating. Opening later this year, Tierra Santa Healing House will be a 12,000-square-foot sanctuary with a hammam, five water features, 11 treatment rooms, infrared sauna, fitness and movement studios, and bespoke South American healing treatments. Faena Theater will open in spring 2026 to showcase ambitious productions and Faena’s own cabaret performances.
