A first-of-its-kind, artist-curated music venue takes to the seas January 2027, redefining how travel and live music blend together for exciting experiences. Next year, Margaritaville at Sea’s new Beachcomber ship introduces Same Boat, a music venue developed with Zac Brown of Zac Brown Band.

The space is designed as an immersive live music hub at sea, bringing songwriter-style sets and intimate performances to cruise experiences. Every detail of the space, from the handcrafted stage and artwork to the acoustics and menu, was shaped to reflect Zac Brown’s signature style and the ship’s laidback rhythms.

“When we started talking about this partnership, I knew I didn’t just want to design a room — I wanted to create an experience that truly captures the spirit of Margaritaville at Sea,” said Zac Brown. “Designing Same Boat has been about bringing that easygoing energy that’s always guided my music to life. Every detail reflects pieces of my own journey — from the stage to the sea — all coming together to create a place where people can connect, share a drink, listen to great music, and feel that incredible sense of freedom you only find at a show or out on the open water. That’s my kind of medicine.”

And for musicians and singers, the cruise line also launches a talent search for performers to join the live entertainment lineup. Auditions are open through April 17, with applications available here.

Beachcomber will be the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet when it deploys. The vessel will sail year-round Caribbean itineraries from Port Miami beginning January 2027. Bookings are open.
