Grace Farms Kicks Off 2026–2027 Series in Glass-Enclosed Performing Arts Space

Grace Farms cultural and humanitarian center recently debuted its music and concert lecture series, which runs through May 8, 2027. The performances and talks explore the theme of “We all build,” and primarily take place in the sanctuary of the acclaimed, SANAA-designed River building at Grace Farms, the only glass-enclosed performing arts space in the world with 360-degree views.

This year marks Grace Farms’ 10th anniversary year, and the season opener on Sept. 13, featured a conversation between Chelsea Thatcher, founding creative director, Grace Farms, and visual artist Teresita Fernández, who discussed her studio practice, research, materials and site-specific work. The lecture was preceded by a short recital from award-winning violist Jordan Bak.

The headlining performance of the season, upcoming on Sept. 26, features Tony and GRAMMY award-winning artist Leslie Odom, Jr., performing selections from the American Songbook, reimagined pop favorites and musical theater classics.

The concert series, Music at Grace Farms, is timed to conclude with sunset, and begins Nov. 15 in the 700-seat indoor amphitheater with renowned violinist Nemanja Radulović and his acclaimed chamber orchestra Double Sens — making its U.S. debut and first U.S. tour —performing works by Beethoven and Bach, followed by GRAMMY-nominated choir Broadway Inspirational Voices for a family-friendly concert of beloved Broadway, gospel and Christmas melodies performed by 30 vocalists on Dec. 13.

The marquee series, Lectures with Concert, pairs visionary leaders who have shaped our world and curated chamber music performances. The series kicks off Jan. 23 with Dr. Danielle Allen, James Bryant Conant University professor, Harvard University, and violinists William Hagen and David Bernat, violist Masumi Per Rostad, and cellist Arlen Hlusko.

Leading with Purpose is a signature series that highlights innovative leaders and transformational thinkers who are advancing more equitable, sustainable and inclusive systems across industries. This kicked off Sept. 19 with Sarah Harden, former CEO, Hello Sunshine, sharing lessons in leadership, innovation and creating more equitable industries.

Visitors to Grace Farms can also enjoy 80 acres of serene landscape and world-class design, as well as site-specific art installations, guided art and architecture tours, a one-mile trail loop surrounding Cattail Pond, and daily pop-up educational talks covering sustainable design and nature stewardship. Glass-enclosed Tea Pavilion offers tranquil tea tastings and afternoon tea services. The Commons, a 6,900-square-foot glass space featuring 18-foot red oak communal tables, serves locally sourced seasonal lunches, house-made daily pastries and light fare.
