Hotel Seville Nomad Unveils Completed Renovation

The comprehensive, multimillion-dollar renovation and rebrand of Hotel Seville NoMad, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is officially complete. Formerly The James Hotel NoMad, the hotel sits in the heart of Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood.

First opened in 1903, the hotel’s Beaux-Arts façade has graced the NoMad skyline for more than 120 years. Meticulously restored, the 348 guestrooms and suites have been fully reimagined with a residential feel, featuring curated artwork, rich textures and vintage-inspired elements. Public spaces have been transformed into vibrant social hubs, anchored by a trio of signature dining experiences including Il Bar, a residential-style lobby bar designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen. Scarpetta, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, continues to serve as a hallmark of the culinary program. Rounding out the offerings is The Seville, a revived speakeasy lounge.

The renovation also included the hotel’s flexible event spaces, ranging from a 2,400-square-foot ballroom to more intimate salons. Guests can maintain fitness routines in the newly renovated, state-of-the-art gym, featuring Peloton bikes and Precor cardio and strength training equipment.
