Perfect for travelers interested in active, nature-based trips, these new itineraries feature five multi-active trips, two cycling trips, and 21 walking and trekking trips. The new trips bring Intrepid Travel’s active offerings to 148 journeys total. Each trip is assigned a physicality rating from one to five, providing travelers with guidance on which best suits their fitness level.
“For many travelers, the best way to unwind is by moving, and that’s exactly what our active adventures are all about. These trips let travelers move, explore and reconnect with nature, while sharing the experiences with a community of like-minded travelers,” said Erica Kritikides, general manager of experiences, Intrepid Travel. “From trekking through Mexico’s remote highlands to kayaking in Norway’s World Heritage listed Naeroyfjord, this style of travel takes you beyond the beaten path to hard-to-reach places, offering unique and immersive experiences that immerse you with the very heart of a destination.”
