Tips / Travel

Packing for a long-haul flight can be daunting. You want to strive for that subtle balance between over-packing and under-packing. Follow our tips for a checklist of items you must pack on a long-haul flight.

Back-Up Entertainment Options

In case your device loses its charge or you finish binge-watching a new show, make sure you bring a book or other form of entertainment as back up.

Portable Charger

Even if you fully charge all of your devices before take-off, your batteries still may run out during the flight. Pack a portable charger to use for some extra power. Just be sure to fully charge it before you leave for the airport.

Light Snacks

Pack some light snacks, high in protein. Nuts, dried fruit and cheese and crackers are easy to store and come in handy if you don’t like the in-flight dining options.

Large Scarf

Dress in layers and bring a large scarf that can double as a blanket if the cabin is chilly.

Ear Plugs

If you want to catch some sleep during the flight, bring a pair of ear plugs in case your neighbors are noisy.

Mini Toiletry Bag

Even if you pack toiletries in a larger bag, select a few essentials to keep with you at your seat. Moisturizer, deodorant, hand sanitizer, a toothbrush and toothpaste can help you freshen up before you land.
