New Offerings Await in Daytona Beach, Florida

Daytona Beach continues to expand its offerings. For those seeking a quick, northern Florida getaway this fall, there are plenty of new and exciting ways to stay and play.

There are multiple new hotels expected to open before year end, including Residence Inn by Marriott Ormond Beach; TownePlace Suites by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront; and Casa Del Mar, a Hilton Vacation Club. In addition to expanding the destination’s guestroom options, these properties will also offer dining and amenities such as ocean-front event space, an ocean-view pool in the case of Residence Inn and more.

New dining options also open up across the city, including Billy’s Tap Room (though a historic eatery, it has been undergoing extensive renovations) and new options at ONE DAYTONA shopping district.

Meanwhile, Jackie Robinson Ballpark has recently been renovated, allowing for not only greater attention to the ballpark’s historic significance, but also its Minor League team, the Daytona Tortugas.

Then, Ocean Center (a convention and event venue) is in the midst of a $40 million renovation for new arena enhancements.

In short, Daytona Beach attractions and accommodations options are experiencing a lot of change and, so, if you’ve yet to vacation there … well, it may just be time you checked Daytona out.
