Dining/Entertainment

Gaylord Opryland Resort recently announced the debut of Foundry Fieldhouse Sports Bar & Taproom, the resort’s newest dining and entertainment destination, as well as the first food and beverage concept to open as part of its multiphase transformation. The two‑level venue offers indoor and seasonal outdoor seating for up to 707 guests with four bars; 14 large‑format TVs; and a massive, 38‑foot, floor-to-ceiling, LED screen that delivers a viewing experience akin to a stadium scoreboard.

The bar’s design found inspiration in the history of the city’s Printers Alley district, where presses once produced newspapers, music posters and sporting headlines. A collective of local artists produced 13 custom works, including murals, sculptural installations and mixed media, that can be found throughout the restaurant. Each references vintage sports culture through historic stadium signage, archival photography, classic athletic gear and Tennessee landscapes. Materials include brick, blackened steel, concrete floors and industrial mesh.

The beer program boasts 16 beers on tap, including local favorites and craft standouts. At the heart of the selection is Foundry Fieldhouse Tennessee Lager, an original venue-exclusive recipe created in partnership with Tennessee Brew Works, blending a crisp Tennessee lager with a blonde IPA. Cocktail lovers can choose from a lineup of imaginative twists on timeless classics.

The menu takes a refined approach to pub cuisine with a scratch kitchen where key ingredients are made in house or sourced from trusted local partners, all under the direction of Executive Chef Michael Coyle.

Foundry Fieldhouse is also one of the region’s premier event destinations for its rare blend of versatile indoor spaces and seamlessly connected covered or open-air outdoor environments that host everything from intimate gatherings of 10 to celebrations for up to 2,200 guests.
