The first-ever Hijinx Hotel opens this December in Irvine, California, alongside Holey Moley Golf Club, bringing competitive socializing experiences and unique hospitality spaces to Southern California. Disclosure (and maybe spoiler alert): It’s not a real hotel.

Conceived by Funlab, the property will cover 35,000 square feet within Irvine Spectrum Center. Hijinx Hotel will feature mind-bending design concepts and eccentric experiences, complete with 15 challenge rooms, each offering a scored interactive game within an Instagram-worthy setting. Guests are welcomed to Hijinx with bellhops and, once within the room, between two and six guests can navigate a funhouse. The property also features a wide range of song choices, food and drinks from the speakeasy-style bar and restaurant Suite 404, and more.

Holey Moley Golf Club makes its Orange County debut, but it’s not your typical mini golf experience. Featuring 27 outrageously themed holes mixing nostalgia and madness, visitors are surrounded by immersive, neon-lit spaces with obstacles and surprises at every hole. Set-like surroundings pay homage to cultural icons over the decades. The golf club also has its own full-service bar and restaurant, serving themed cocktails and shareables.
Bookings for these experiences go live Nov. 12, with a grand opening Dec. 12.
