Next April, Under Canvas, the leader in upscale, outdoor hospitality, will debut in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with Under Canvas Santa Fe. The opening will mark the brand’s 18th property within its portfolio and also be home to its first dedicated event tent that can be booked as a full buyout for up to 130 guests.

Under Canvas Santa Fe will sit on 640 acres near Galisteo Basin Preserve, offering nearby access to more than 44 trails for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. The site will be at a whopping 6,231 feet in elevation, offering 45 safari-inspired canvas tents and temperature-controlled cabins. Accommodations will span three distinct settings: upper terrace near the lobby, lower meadow and juniper-covered middle slope. Cabins will be a first for the brand, designed for guests looking for a more contemporary experience while remaining connected to the landscape.
Each tent will provide a private deck, en-suite bathroom, king-sized bed with luxe linens, in-tent cooling and traditional Under Canvas wood-burning stove. Select tents will also offer the option to reserve an adjacent Kids Tent with two twin beds.

Under Canvas Santa Fe’s dining scene will encompass seasonal-style café dining inspired by regional flavors. Complimentary activities include live music, saunas, family programming, on-site collaborations with local artists, yoga and nightly s’mores.
Guests can also work with Guest Experience Coordinators to plan outdoor adventures and cultural excursions, from rafting the rivers to exploring Santa Fe’s galleries.
