The holiday season kicks off in November with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony inspired by local traditions. Guests join a lantern-lit parade and take in traditional music and storytelling.
On Christmas Eve, the resort hosts holiday activities with cultural significance. Guests may take part in lantern crafting; tree decorating; a parade; and a gathering of traditional music, dance and storytelling. Christmas morning sees the arrival of Santa Claus from the sea. This unique experience draws inspiration from nomadic seafaring traditions of the local Bajo tribe. Guests watch Santa’s arrival then take part in cookie decorating, festive crafts and poolside revelry.

Ring in 2026 with a fabulous beachfront New Year’s Eve gala. The new celebration includes an authentic Flores Orchestra performance, also featuring traditional dancers. Guests delight in an elegant gala dinner of classic Indonesian cuisine and craft cocktails. The evening concludes with a midnight toast to the New Year.
