Savannah has always been a city where artists and eccentrics mingle, thanks to an open atmosphere and diverse population, which is why it’s a fantastic city for the LGBTQ community. The city itself is known for its beautiful architecture and vast assortment of museums, but most notably it’s the setting for John Berendt's Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, which centered around the local gay community and featured some of its most prominent characters.
