Each event will feature a local author reading, discussion and book signing, accompanied by bites and sips. The series helps spread the mission of Marigold Press: sharing stories of hope, resilience and purpose.
“We’re honored to provide a home for stories that reflect the heart of Savannah,” said Rebekah McLeod, owner, Marigold Press. “Little James offers the perfect setting—warm, elegant, and full of character—to bring authors and readers together in meaningful ways.”

A culinary storytelling experience featuring Chef Mir Ali of Lili’s Restaurant. Guests will enjoy a live cooking demo and hear the personal histories behind the flavors. - Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. | Caroline Gordon Armstrong – The Guardian of Calibogue
A family-friendly storytime event celebrating local lore, the morning will include a reading and children’s activity hosted by Savannah native Caroline Armstrong.
The Ann Literary Series helps advance the hotel’s goal to become a true cultural hub in Savannah’s Historic District. Little James offers a space for creativity, connection and inspiration.
Events are open to hotel guests and the public. Books from the series will be available for purchase at Laurel Street Market, the hotel’s on-site boutique in the lobby.
