The Standard recently partnered with author, restaurateur, filmmaker and cultural provocateur Eddie Huang to bring people together through culture and conversation. After the launch in New York, the collaboration will expand across London and Miami through a series of events in correlation to Huang’s upcoming tour for his new book, Come Undone.

Living up to its legacy as a cultural meeting place, the partnership highlights a shared belief in creating spaces where people can connect authentically; generate unexpected conversations; and create experiences that feel spontaneous, social and unapologetically fun. The partnership created the Come Undone Deck, a card game of questions meant to create honest and playful conversations. This game will be available for purchase on ShoptheStandard.com as well as at select properties.
And, on Aug. 6, travelers can head to Miami for an intimate evening filled with connection, conversation, a book signing with Huang and a speed-dating event featuring the Come Undone Deck card game.
To go along with the launch and event series, The Standard will offer the Eddie Huang Come Undone Room package, available at select Standard properties through Aug. 31. The package includes an upgrade to a suite, a room with a bathtub, a food and beverage offering for a date night on property, the Come Undone Deck of cards, a copy of Huang’s book, and more.
