Waterfalls
Visit some of Asheville’s most beautiful waterfalls on an excursion. If you don’t feel like hiking, the Dry Falls 75-foot waterfall is roadside along US Highway 64. If you’re up for the hike, just a two-mile hike into the Nanthala National Forest will bring you to the Glen Falls. There are plenty of options for discovering beautiful falls in the area, check out as many as you can!
Local Flavor
Asheville is known for amazing locally sourced food; sustainable agriculture reigns king here. Be sure to explore some of the best the city has to offer. After hiking and checking out the sights, head to downtown Asheville for some local flavor. Tupelo Honey Café and Rhubarb are some of the best local places to grab a meal.
Watering Hole
If you’re still thirsty after your meal, Asheville is also home to many local breweries. It was called by NPR radio the “Napa Valley of Beer”. Take an entire beer tour with The Amazing Pubcycle to peddle through the city and check out the top spots. Or just choose one, like Highland Brewing Co., for all your beer needs.
