Virgin Limited Edition recently announced the addition of Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp in Kenya to its collection of unique retreats. The tented safari camp is renowned for its family values, deep-rooted connection to community and sustainability, and luxury safari experience. This marks the collection’s second property in Kenya, allowing travelers to combine visits to different areas of Kenya.
Finch Hattons features 17 luxury tented suites alongside three decades of safari experience with the Kenyan-based Gehlot family, owners of the property. Guests will enjoy extraordinary experiences within Tsavo, including Africa’s only Shetani lava flow and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Gehlot family also co-owns Mahali Mzuri with Sir Richard Branson.

“This is a momentous occasion for Virgin Limited Edition and the whole of Virgin Hotels Collection as we welcome Finch Hattons to our family,” said James Bermingham, CEO, Virgin Hotels Collection. “Growth is very much part of our plan for the entire collection over the coming years and this is just the start as we look to expand our guest choice across the globe. We are privileged to have a very special portfolio and it’s incredibly important to protect this and grow carefully with those that offer the same extraordinary and personal experiences our guests have come to love and expect.”
Finch Hatton becomes part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio from July 1, with rates starting at $796 per person per night, including accommodation, all meals and drinks, scheduled activities, and return airstrip transfers.
