There is nothing worse than going on a trip down the shore and having rain ruin your vacation. And because weather is often unpredictable, it’s always good to have some back-up plans if you can’t make it to the beach. Atlantic City, New Jersey, offers many great indoor activities for when the weather turns bad.
Showboat Resort’s Lucky Snake Arcade, the largest arcade in the world, has more than 800 games, as well as virtual reality experiences, go-karts and mini golf. The resort is also home to Island Waterpark, the world’s largest indoor beachfront watermark, featuring exciting slides, multiple pools, a swim-up bar and an adults-only pool.
At Spiegelworld, travelers can catch THE HOOK, a funny and intriguing show. The adults-only show is AC’s only resident show and has seven performances a week, Wednesday–Sunday.
Ocean Casino Resort recently debuted its new Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar, a one-of-a-kind experience. The golf course spans two stories and is interactive with holograms and different visuals.
Get out of the rain with a trip to Atlantic City Aquarium. Learn about native South Jersey wildlife, see more than 125 species of marine life, touch sharks in touch tanks, experience a hurricane in a hurricane simulator and more.
Restaurant Scene
Atlantic City is a foodie’s dream city. The city is filled with classics and one-of-a-kind restaurants, such as Angeloni’s Club Madrid, Velo Cafe, II Verdi, LaScala’s Fire, Chef Vola’s, Noodles, YouYu Noodle Bark and Zhen Bang Noodle Sushi.
