Plan a trip to one of these destinations to stay on track with your 2026 goals.
The best cities for keeping resolutions are:
- Seattle, Washington
- Scottsdale, Arizona
- Irvine, California
- Atlanta, Georgia
- Salt Lake City, Utah
- Orlando, Florida
- Austin, Texas
- Fremont, California
- San Diego, California
- Miami, Florida
The worst cities for keeping resolutions are:
- Jackson, Mississippi
- Gulfport, Mississippi
- Shreveport, Louisiana
- Dover, Delaware
- Memphis, Tennessee
- Newark, New Jersey
- Augusta, Georgia
- Montgomery, Alabama
- Huntington, West Virginia
- Toledo, Ohio
WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 57 key metrics including access to exercise opportunities, housing affordability, job opportunities and family friendliness.
Fremont, California, ranked in the top spot for lowest percentage of obese adults, while Jackson, Mississippi, had the highest. Overall, three California cities ranked in the top 10 best cities for keeping resolutions and two Mississippi cities took the top spots on the worst list.
