Love is in the air! A recent study from hotelwithtub.com revealed the most romantic cities for a dinner date in 2026. The global ranking used a weighted scoring system based on real-world data sourced from TripAdvisory and Instagram including honeymoon spots, couple-friendly attractions, and romantic restaurants and hotels.
The top 10 romantic dinner destinations are:
- London, United Kingdom
- Paris, France
- Rome, Italy
- Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- New York City, United States
- Barcelona, Spain
- Istanbul, Türkiye
- Lisbon, Portugal
- Amsterdam, Netherlands
- Florence, Italy
European destinations prove to be the most romantic in the world, dominating the top 10. London takes the top spot with a whopping 2,173 romantic restaurants. The city’s offerings range from cozy pubs to Michelin-starred spots.
Quintessentially romantic Paris is home to 1,631 romantic restaurants — no wonder it’s called the City of Love! Following closely behind in third place, Rome boasts 1,613 romantic restaurants. In fourth place, Dubai features many luxury dining experiences from restaurants with romantic skyline views to unique desert locations. New York City rounds out the top five thanks to its diverse selection of romantic spots throughout the city.
