Planning your first trip of 2026 and on a budget? A new report from Dollar Flight Club can help. The brand recently pulled together a list of what it predicts will be the cheapest places to fly in 2026, based on factors such as historical data, timing, seasonality and more.
With average airfare hovering around $200, the cheapest international destination for 2026, the report found, will be San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL).
Other cheap international destinations include Madrid, Spain (MAD); Vancouver, Canada (YVR); Lisbon, Portugal (LIS); Medellín, Colombia (MED); Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA); Merida, Mexico (MID); Monterrey, Mexico (MTY); Oaxaca, Mexico (OAX); Leon, Mexico (BJX); San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO); Libera, Costa Rica (LIR); Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ); Calgary, Canada (YYC); and Edmonton, Canada (YEG).
Stateside, with average airfare coming in at less than $100, the cheapest domestic destination for 2026 is predicted as Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL).
Other domestic destinations to make the list include Orlando (MCO and SFB), Chicago (ORD and MDW), Pittsburgh (PIT), Dallas (DFW and DAL), Charlotte (CLT), Detroit (DTW), Knoxville (TYS), Pensacola (PNS), Des Moines (DSM), Miami (MIA), Phoenix (PHX), Denver (DEN) and Cleveland (CLE).
