Where to Catch Outdoor Live Music in Tennessee This Summer

No matter where you travel in Tennessee, you’ll have no problem finding outdoor, live music throughout the state and the summer.

In Clarksville, you can enjoy weekly live music in Silo Park at Old Glory Distilling Co, as well as at Beachaven Winery. Meanwhile, Downtown @ Sundown brings live music to Clarksville’s Downtown Commons every first and third Friday through Oct. 2.

Through Sept. 12, in Lawrenceburg, Levitt AMP Concert Series attracts nationally known artists to the town twice a month, alongside food trucks and games.

In Kingsport, Fun Fest is in its 40th year, taking place July 17–25, bringing a mix of concerts and outdoor activities. The fest’s sunset concert series includes acts such as Daughtry, Switchfoot and Leann Rimes. Fireworks, food trucks and hot-air balloon rides are also on tap.

In Bristol, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion takes place Sept. 11–13. More than a dozen downtown stages welcome a vast array of acts over the three days.

Then, cap off summer Sept. 19, with the Cooper-Young Festival in Memphis’s historic district. In addition to the music representing a range of genres, from R&B to gospel to pop, you’ll find more than 400 artisans in attendance.
