There’s no shortage of book-to-screen adaptions this year, with many shows and films already generating a ton of buzz. Let them fuel your wanderlust and plan a trip to one of the following locales:
Croatia
Emily Henry fans may’ve been disappointed to see the recent Netflix adaptation of People We Meet on Vacation left out the book’s pivotal Croatia scenes, but don’t let that stop you from packing the source material and enjoying your own Croatian moment. Ontario
Take a little road trip through Ontario to see filming locations from the hit show Heated Rivalry. In Hamilton, Ontario, you can see Dundurn Castle, which was a stand-in for Ilya’s Russia, while the Pink Tunnel in Hamilton is where the show shot Ilya’s Russian confession scene. Meanwhile, Lake Muskoka is where Shane’s cottage is supposedly located, and Sleeman Centre in Guelph was used for some hockey scenes.
Yorkshire
And, lastly, if you fell head over heels for Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights earlier this month, take a trip to Yorkshire to see not only filming locations, but also The Bronte Parsonage Museum. Visit England has already laid out an entire itinerary for you.
