Bachelor/ette Parties

While Cancun may be the go-to spring break destination, Playa del Carmen, its neighbor to the south, offers a more mature party experience. For old friends looking to give their buddy a proper send-off, this Mexican getaway is the perfect spot.

Playa del Carmen is perhaps most well known for its famous underwater geological system of Cenotes Cavern. For the bachelor groups who tend to jump in feet first, there are a number of scuba tours through these caverns that feature dives into the deep channel of tunnels. For gangs just looking to relax, there are more moderate waist-high swimming tours.

The nightlife of Playa del Carmen includes a number of clubs and bars, like the enormous Coco Bongo. This nightclub has both a balcony section and a massive dance floor, complete with bottle service, and features a Las Vegas-style dance show. Performances include both a Michael Jackson and a Freddie Mercury tribute show among others.

Other popular bachelor party excursions in Playa del Carmen include swimming with dolphins, off-road buggy jungle excursions and ATV adventures. Groups might consider taking an afternoon stroll through the grand arches of the Parque Los Fundadores, or relax on a beach like Boca Paila.
