Top 5 / Asia

Known as the Lion City and the Garden City, the island of Singapore is one of the most exciting and beautiful destinations in Asia. Along with rich history, standout cuisine and an abundance of parks and gardens, Singapore offers some great culinary and entertainment venues. Here are some of the best rooftop bars in the city.

Loof

The first standalone rooftop bar in Singapore, Loof has since been surpassed height-wise, but it’s a great bar nonetheless. The bar’s relaxed, casual atmosphere pairs with affordable drinks deals, beer pong and Southeast Asian cuisine.

Lantern at Fullerton Bay Hotel

Head to Lantern at The Fullerton Bay Hotel for some of the most gorgeous views in Singapore. The bar’s proximity to Marina Bay offers unobstructed views across the water to the city skyline, and the bar features lavish bed-style seating, affordable drinks and a laidback vibe.

SuperTree by IndoChine

The most unique bar experience in Singapore is on top of the highest SuperTree at the popular Gardens by the Bay. SuperTree by IndoChine is a chic bar and restaurant serving Asian and Western food and great cocktails. The real selling point, though, is the location, perched on a giant, manmade tree overlooking the city.

1-Altitude

At 63 stories tall, 1-Altitude is the highest, and swankiest, place in town to order a drink. The bar is located on the roof of One Raffles Place and offers three different levels of alfresco dining and drinking areas, complete with trees and gardens. There is a cover charge, but it’s well worth it for the incredible views.

HI-SO Rooftop Bar

Situated on the roof of the Sofitel So Singapore — one of the city’s lower buildings — HI-SO Rooftop is surrounded by skyscrapers towering over the bar and adjacent pool. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored heritage building, and the bar features garden décor and expertly crafted cocktails.
