Top 5 / Australia

Darwin is Australia’s gateway to both the Northern Territory and Asia, so you can bet there are plenty of incredible hotels ready to accommodate an influx of guests.

Sky City Darwin

Sky City Darwin is the city’s most luxurious option, set right against the stunning Mindil Beach. The hotel boasts a swimmable lagoon, a manmade beach, and you can even swim up to the bar and order a drink. It’s also right next to a casino, offering easy access to fun activities.

Hilton Darwin

The Hilton Darwin offers everything you’ve come to expect from the popular brand of hotels, but its location at the quiet end of the city’s busiest streets is what really sets it apart. The area’s top restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities are only a five-minute walk away. The atmosphere is opulent, yet relaxing, and the service is top-notch.

H Hotel on Smith

H Hotel on Smith boasts a modern appeal with a bright, tropical theme. An outdoor pool lined in colorful fauna, an on-site restaurant with delicious Asian cuisine, and a five-minute stroll to Bicentennial Park make it a great option that’s both affordable and chic. The showers here are huge, too.

Oaks Elan

One of Darwin’s newest hotels, Oaks Elan is equidistant to the Central Business District and the waterfront. The building’s 27 floors tower over the city skyline and showcase a sleek and modern design, though the interior is somewhat bland. However, an affordable price and amenities like a neon-lit outdoor pool, fitness center and restaurant and bar make it a great choice.

Adina Apartment Hotel

The minimalist rooms of the Adina Apartment Hotel aren’t much to look at, but outside the rooms is where the hotel really shines. Situated inside the Waterfront District, the hotel boasts a grassy area for picnicking, a simulated wave pool, a harbor swimming area surrounded by sand, and a ring of restaurants and bars just outside its doors. Adina is just a five-minute walk from Smith Street, and is on the more affordable end of the spectrum in Darwin.
