Thompson San Antonio is now accepting reservations for stays beginning March 1, 2021. Located in the mixed-use The Arts Residences, Thompson San Antonio will redefine the city’s skyline and celebrated River Walk.

City and Hill Country views will be a highlight of the 20-story hotel’s 162 guestrooms, with 33 of them suites. While the San Antonio chef at the helm has yet to be named, the hotel will include a signature restaurant, as well as a rooftop bar, an expansive pool deck, a full-service spa and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

“As we prepare to open our doors in 2021, we are excited to welcome guests, World of Hyatt members, customers and the San Antonio community to discover Thompson San Antonio’s southern hospitality, world-class service, groundbreaking design and in-the-know social scene,” said Ted Knighton, general manager, Thompson San Antonio. “We are proud to bring a fresh take on contemporary, tailored hospitality to the San Antonio market, where an elevated lifestyle experience like Thompson San Antonio will be the first of its kind.”

Guestrooms will boast rainfall showers, D.S. & Durga bath products and advanced smart technology, among many other features. The Penthouse Suite includes a pool table and a private terrace. Four restaurant and bar outlets, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces, will enhance the River Walk ambiance. Guests will also enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired rooftop restaurant and bar, as well as an expansive fourth-floor pool deck, with a pool, lounge areas, a bar, live music and private cabanas.

Thompson San Antonio joins a recently opened Thompson location in Dallas, and other properties also opening in 2021 in Savannah, Buckhead, Hollywood and Austin. Nightly rates in San Antonio begin at $349.
