Travel is all about the experiences — the namesake of Airbnb’s newest offering.
In celebration of the recent launch of New York City Experiences, Airbnb offers exclusive, one-time experiences with three celebrities who call the city home.
Actor, producer and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker is synonymous with New York City, and who better to shop with than the queen of fashion herself? Through Airbnb Experiences, four guests will take a shopping trip with the Sex and the City star. Meeting at the iconic Bloomingdale’s flagship store on 59th Street, guests will join Parker in the shoe department to pick out a pair of shoes from the SJP collection. From there, they’ll head to Four Carrots for frozen yogurt and a chat with the actress about how the city inspires her design work. In the evening, guests will enjoy a VIP experience at the New York City Ballet.
Other lucky guests will join Baby Driver actor, musician and New York City native Ansel Elgort for a day exploring his favorite food, drink and entertainment spots in Brooklyn. Everyone will meet at Brooklyn Boulders, a favorite climbing spot, for an introduction to the actor’s workouts, followed by a visit to Main Drag Music, a vintage music shop. Afterwards, the group will head to a local gastropub for a game of outdoor ping-pong.
Finally, former NY Giant, Super Bowl Champion and Good Morning America host Michael Strahan will provide guests an inside look into how he unwinds, including one of his favorite pastimes. Meeting at The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, the premier golf destination in New York City, four guests will hit balls with the football pro before enjoying a VIP lunch at one of his favorite spots, El Toro Blanco.
Airbnb offers more than 1,800 Experiences in 40 cities, including insider information on museum exhibits, festivals, concerts, classes, excursions and other can’t-miss events.
