Tips / Other

The summer days are winding down and that means earlier sunsets, cooler weather and the rapidly approaching holiday season. If you find yourself desperately hanging on to your swimsuits, frozen drinks and picnics, follow our tips for beating the end of summer blues.

Plan a Trip

If you find the fall and winter depressing, plan a vacation to a warm weather destination. It will give you something to look forward to and give you a break from the cold weather.

Wear White After Labor Day

Ignore the old fashion rule and wear your favorite white clothes after Labor Day. You’ll still feel those summer vibes while transitioning into the next season.

Make a Photo Album

Hang on to summer memories by putting together a photo album. Whether it’s photos from a vacation or just spending time with friends and family, an album is a great way to look back on a fun summer. Use a service like Shutterfly or Snapfish to customize your photos.

Summer Cleaning

Clean out your closet to make room for some new fall and winter clothes. Donate gently used items or have a clothing exchange event with your friends.

Throw a Party

Host an end-of-summer bash for your friends and family. Buy food to grill, stock up on seasonal produce and enjoy some summer beers.
