Now through mid-August, catch a unique, Oreo-themed pop-up. The free attraction, dubbed The Soft Life, revolves around the Oreo Cakesters product, a soft take on everyone’s favorite sandwich cookie. The pop-up already launched last month in New York City, but now it’s on its way across the nation.

So, what can you expect if you attend? Head to the bakery counter, where you can order a Cakester to go. Grab some Cakesters and Oreo merch. Dive into a cloud pillow pit. Test your nose at the scent discovery station.

And, if you’ve tried Cakesters before and thought maybe this sweet snack is just not your thing — think again. The pop-up coincides with the introduction of a new Cakesters recipe.

“We know today’s snackers want dynamic, on-the-go treats, and we are thrilled to deliver our softest, most delicious Oreo Cakesters yet,” described Melissa Renny, senior director, cakes and pastries, Mondelez International. “While we kept the nostalgic flavor long-time fans expect, we wanted to celebrate this upgraded recipe in a big way that would pique the interest of new consumers. The Soft Life goes beyond just tasting the product — it immerses fans in a playful, pillowy world where they can truly feel the softer side of Oreo Cakesters.”

The Soft Life pop-up can be found in Milwaukee through July 4; Chicago, July 10–12; Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 1–2; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Aug. 7–9; and Asbury Park, New Jersey, Aug. 14–16. Additional dates are planned, but not yet announced, for California and Texas.
