Embark on a historical, self-guided tour along the Lehigh County Treasure Trail. Curated for the 250th, this trail includes stops at Revolutionary War-era landmarks. Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts hosts an exhibit opening in May, highlighting Bethlehem’s Moravian community during the American Revolution. Allentown Art Museum hosts Revolution Retold, an exhibit showcasing more than 200 years of art and design inspired by the American Revolution. The special exhibit will be on display June 4–Oct. 18.
For thirsty history buffs, check out Bethlehem’s Ales & Tales walking tour. Available June–August, this walking tour features stops at historic landmarks all while enjoying craft beer. Coca-Cola Park in Allentown hosts two patriotic community gatherings and fireworks displays on May 27 and July 3.
