Washington, D.C., welcomes citizenM’s second hotel, citizenM Washington DC NoMa, to the city. The new hotel opens two years after the brand’s first DC hotel, citizenM Washington Capitol. The new hotel features 296 rooms, all featuring citizenM’s unfailing dedication to design, art, technology and comfort.
“We’re thrilled to be part of NoMa’s growth with the addition of citizenM Washington DC NoMa,” said Robin Chadha, CMO, citizenM Hotels. “With a curated selection of artwork by local Washington-based artists and our proximity to the best the city has to offer in terms of galleries, museums, boutiques, restaurants and bars, etc., we’re excited to be able to provide guests and visitors alike with an unparalleled and culturally robust experience both in and out of the hotel.”
The new hotel features three society meeting rooms available for half- and full-day hires to both guests and the public. These rooms offer style, technology and unlimited coffee. Rooms come with extra-large, king-sized beds with luxury bedding, and an LED/LCD widescreen television offering streaming options via free WiFi.
In the bathroom, guests find a powerful rain shower with full-sized shower gel and shampoo and giant fluffy towels. An iPad or the citizenM app controls the room ambiance, from the blinds to the TV to even the lights with changeable colors.
The new hotel lies 25 minutes from Reagan Washington National Airport and sits adjacent to the Metro (Red Line). Nightlife places and landmarks like the White House also lie close to the property.
