You may already know you can crowdfund your honeymoon, asking wedding guests to contribute to your travel budget in lieu of physical wedding gifts, but what about asking them to help fund a trip for your first anniversary?
Honeyfund recently launched an Anniversary Fund tool to allow couples to crowdfund anniversary trips and experiences.
“Honeymoons are more than a vacation — they’re a chance to reset and invest in your future together,” explained Sara Margulis, CEO and co-founder, Honeyfund. “With the Anniversary Fund, couples can keep that tradition going. And for many COVID wedding couples celebrating their 5th anniversary, this is a chance to finally take their honeymoon.”
The Anniversary Fund tool allows you to create your custom fund simply and easily, customizing your fund page with photos, stories and details about the trip friends and family are helping you fund. As the dollars roll in, you’re able to use them, fee free, however you please, to make your anniversary trip a reality. In addition to simply asking for cash, though, you can also allow friends and family to specifically fund certain experiences or elements of your trip, such as spa treatments, resort stays or excursions.
