Crypto Neo-Bank Tria Now Gives You 10 Percent Back on Travel

Self-custodial crypto neo-bank Tria is expanding into the travel booking arena and giving its 500,000-plus users some big benefits if they do indeed choose to use the app for directly booking their next trips — up to 10 percent cashback on select purchases.

The new in-app Tria Travel feature was developed in partnership with Bookit. It allows you to book your flights, hotels, cruises and travel activities. Browse, compare and confirm all your bookings without even leaving the app. Paying for your travel with crypto is also an option. Whatever your travel goals, when you use Tria Travel, you’ll receive automatic cashback on your eligible bookings, again, up to 10 percent.

This can be an attractive alternative to those who previously have relied on cashback offerings from typical travel credit cards, which may only offer 2–5 percent cashback, or those who’re accustomed to booking using a travel credit card that doesn’t even provide cashback as an option at all, instead only rewarding cardholders with points or miles.

The launch of Tria Travel comes shortly after the announcement Tria’s payment card, as of December 2025, supports top-ups from users’ self-custodied Bitcoin holdings. After funding their cards via their Bitcoin wallets, Tria users can then use the card to pay for purchases anywhere that accepts Visa or Mastercard.
