New travel luggage brand Tesport launched last month. The brand hopes to fill what it calls a market gap of travel products that either offer style or utility — never both. As such, Tesport combines practicality and an intuitive system with a fun, aesthetically pleasing design.
Features include a Ride or Fly System that allows backpacks and totes to slide onto luggage handles, a removable divider that also acts as a hanging organizer and dedicated wet pockets. Bags are also designed to be extra light for easier lifting.
“We want to bring joy back to the journey by removing the small frictions that weigh people down. When your gear works perfectly, every journey feels lighter and more inspiring,” said Ella Yin, CEO and co-founder, Tesport.
Nobuo Maeda, co-founder and chief creative and design officer, added, “We focus on the invisible details that make movement easier so people can focus on the journey, not the baggage.”
At launch, Tesport is offering a range of products, including carry-on and checked luggage, backpacks, totes, crossbody bags, and mini pouches. Luggage comes in fun colors such as bright pink and apple green. A basic, medium check-in bag starts at $338, with carry-on bags starting at $258.
